PROGRESSION is by far the best way to explain how the day went. Girls were learning from their mistakes (shout out to Sam for the best crash), learning from one another and learning simply from doing the same thing repetitively! That last lesson is one I learnt from the day. You can watch hundreds of videos on youtube or ask as many people as you can how to do a certain trick or how to best slide through a corner but in reality the only way you are going to get it right is by doing it over and over again.
It brings me such joy to see girls ripping with one another, and I honestly cannot wait until they start challenging the boys for opens podium positions!
Check out these photos that Tim Wright took of the day!
'Stay on the outside, go hit the apex, turn turn turn!!! Yewwww!'
First time I've been on a board in a month and a bit, and boy is it the best feeling ever!
Jaz was killing it all day, progressed further and further up the track while learning some technique #chestdownbumup
Aki kills it when teaching munchkins, id be scared of the Sk8er sister duo! Steph and Sophie and developing their skills so quickly, its rad!
Thanks again to all who support BirdsOnBoards, hopefully we shall have some videos out soon enough along with T-shirts soon to be available! #yeahchicks
