Event Recap: Vans US Womens Invitational
22 of the worlds best female bowl riders were invited to compete at the Vans US Open in sunny California on the 29th of July.
The girls had a round of qualifying heats where the top 6 advanced to the finals. The girls were given 40 seconds on the clock to produce their best skating in the custom made concrete bowl. The six girls who made it through to the final heat were; Julz Lynn, Allysha Bergado, Lizzie Armanto, Nora Vasconcellos, Alana Smith and Kisa Nakamura. And this is how it all went down:

Well done to all the girls for shredding hard, we hear that all the girls were just going for it which is always an indicator of the quality of the skating. We would also like to give a huge congratulations to the Australian birds Poppy Olsen and Izy Mutu, they did us down here in kangaroo land proud!
