2014 Racing Season Catch Up

If the racing season snuck up on you like it did for us, here is a quick little catch up of who came where and a couple highlights from the races...enjoy!

Lago Cerrillo Formula 1 2014
1st - Katie Neilson
2nd - Emily Pross
3rd - Keyla Padin
4th - Mariela Santiago

Duljug Dumanjug 2014

From what we have heard this race pretty much went down in a typhoon. The weather tried to rain on their parade but one thing was for sure, none of these girls planned on slowing down.

1st - Tamara Prader
2nd - Kara Marbe Urbiztondo
3rd - Gemma Holland
4th - Ayumi Oride

Catalina Island Classic 2014

This track is full of technical corners, which means you have to be in complete control of your board. And Elena was all over it crossing the line first miles ahead of the other 3 girls.  Alicia came through for second rocking out in her radical new leathers. You can watch the race HERE!

1st - Elena Corrigall
2nd - Alicia Fillback
3rd - Marissa Nunez
4th - Victoria Waddington

Attack of Danger Bay 2014

This race was straight up tight, there wasn't much between the girls when they came hauling into carnage corner. Like the true champ that she is Elena kept her line and took out the win!

1st - Elena Corrigall
2nd - Victoria Waddington
3rd - Katie Neilson
4th - Anna O'Neill
5th - Rachel Bruskoff
6th - Dizzy Jane
7th - Charlie Cricket
8th - Kaylene Beatty

Jakes Rash Rumble 2014

No one seems to be able to stop her, Elena for President! Rad to see some fresh faces on the podium this time though!!

1st - Elena Corrigall
2nd - Dizzy Jane
3rd - Charlie Cricket
4th - Rachel Rayne
5th - Kaylene Beatty
6th - Victoria Waddignton
7th - Eleanor Gypsy
8th - Gabby Murray-Roberts

Britannia Classic 2014

Elena went from face planting on the start line to some how making her way to the front of the pack and taking out the win. Gabi and Rachel had an awesome crash on the last corner as well! You could say that the girls were skating on more of a  river than a road.

1st - Elena Corigall
2nd - Victoria Waddignton
3rd - Gabi Murray-Roberts
4th - Rachel Bruskoff

Push Culture Family Picnic 2014

This hill is straight up gnarly!

1st - Emily Pross
2nd - Cassandra Duchesne
3rd - Katie Fry

The crazy part of all this is, the season has only just started, there is plenty of awesome racing to come. There is no doubt though that the quality of female riders is growing. It would not surprise us to see some of the women giving the men a run for their money in the open division in the remaining races. Will anyone be able to beat Elena Corrigall, if so, who? Comment below!
